NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The product of this gene interacts with apolipoprotein A-I (apoA-I), the major apolipoprotein of high-density lipoproteins (HDLs). It is secreted into some bodily fluids, and its synthesis and secretion are stimulated in vitro by incubating cells with apoA-I. The human genome contains related pseudogenes. Uniprot Description
APOA1BP: Catalyzes the epimerization of the S- and R-forms of NAD(P)HX, a damaged form of NAD(P)H that is a result of enzymatic or heat-dependent hydration. This is a prerequisite for the S- specific NAD(P)H-hydrate dehydratase to allow the repair of both epimers of NAD(P)HX. Belongs to the nnrE/AIBP family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: EC 5.1.99.6; Mitochondrial
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 1q22
Cellular Component: cilium; cytosol; extracellular region; extracellular space; intracellular membrane-bound organelle; mitochondrial matrix; mitochondrion; nucleoplasm
Molecular Function: metal ion binding; nucleotide binding; protein binding; protein homodimerization activity

The APOA1BP naxe (Catalog #AAA2025915) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Polyclonal Antibody to Apolipoprotein A1 Binding Protein (APOA1BP) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Apolipoprotein A1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Formalin/Paraffin, ELISA (EIA). Western blotting: 0.5-2ug/ml Immunocytochemistry in formalin fixed cells: 5-20ug/ml Immunohistochemistry in formalin fixed frozen section: 5-20ug/ml Immunohistochemistry in paraffin section: 5-20ug/ml Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay: 0.05-2ug/ml Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the APOA1BP naxe for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Antigen: The target protein is fused with two N-terminal Tags, His-tag and T7-tag and its sequence is listed below. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Apolipoprotein A1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
