Preparation and Storage
The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.

Related Product Information for FGF3 clia kit
The microplate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Fibroblast Growth Factor 3 (FGF3). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microplate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Fibroblast Growth Factor 3 (FGF3). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. Then the mixture of substrate A and B is added to generate glow light emission kinetics. Upon plate development, the intensity of the emitted light is proportional to the Fibroblast Growth Factor 3 (FGF3) level in the sample or standard.;

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF family members possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities and are involved in a variety of biological processes including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth and invasion. This gene was identified by its similarity with mouse fgf3/int-2, a proto-oncogene activated in virally induced mammary tumors in the mouse. Frequent amplification of this gene has been found in human tumors, which may be important for neoplastic transformation and tumor progression. Studies of the similar genes in mouse and chicken suggested the role in inner ear formation. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

FGF3: Plays an important role in the regulation of embryonic development, cell proliferation, and cell differentiation. Required for normal ear development. Defects in FGF3 are a cause of deafness with labyrinthine aplasia, microtia and microdontia (LAMM); also known as congenital deafness with inner ear agenesis, microtia and microdontia. LAMM consists of a unique autosomal recessive syndrome characterized by type I microtia, microdontia, and profound congenital deafness associated with a complete absence of inner ear structures (Michel aplasia). Belongs to the heparin-binding growth factors family.

Product Notes

The Mouse FGF3 fgf3 (Catalog #AAA2001091) is a CLIA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2001091 CLIA Kit recognizes Mouse FGF3. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Fibroblast Growth Factor 3 (FGF3), CLIA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
