500ug lyophilized purified antibody in PBS at a concentration of 1mg/ml.
Applicable Applications for anti-Methicilin-resistant Staph aureus (MRSA) antibody
ELISA, Immunoblot
Application Notes
ELISA: use at a 1:5,000 dilution in direct ELISA against purified MRSA protein or MRSA-positive
Staphylococcus aureus lysate.
Immunoblotting: use at a 1:2,000 dilution. A band of approx. 70 kDa is detected.
These are recommended dilutions. Enduser should determine optimal dilutions for their applications.

This lyophilized product is stable for two years at 4 degree C. After reconstitution, store aliquots at -20 degree C.
Related Product Information for anti-Methicilin-resistant Staph aureus (MRSA) antibody
Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) survives treatment with broad-spectrum beta-lactam antibiotics including penicillin, methicillin, and cephalosporins. Previously, most MRSA infections occurred in hospitals or other health care settings, such as nursing homes and dialysis centers and were known as "health care-associated MRSA" or HA-MRSA. Older adults and people with weakened immune systems were most at risk of contracting HA-MRSA. More recently, another type of MRSA has occurred among otherwise healthy people in the wider community. This form, "community-associated MRSA", or CA-MRSA, causes serious skin and soft tissue infections and a potentially lethal form of pneumonia.

Product Notes

The Methicilin-resistant Staph aureus (MRSA) (Catalog #AAA190480) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Methicilin-resistant Staph aureus (MRSA) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA, Immunoblot. ELISA: use at a 1:5,000 dilution in direct ELISA against purified MRSA protein or MRSA-positive Staphylococcus aureus lysate. Immunoblotting: use at a 1:2,000 dilution. A band of approx. 70 kDa is detected. These are recommended dilutions. Enduser should determine optimal dilutions for their applications. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Methicilin-resistant Staph aureus (MRSA) for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Methicilin-resistant Staph aureus (MRSA), Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
