Related Product Information for CLEC5A recombinant protein
This gene encodes a member of the C-type lectin
C-type lectin-like domain (CTL
CTLD) superfamily. Members of this family share a common protein fold and have diverse functions, such as cell adhesion, cell-cell signalling, glycoprotein turnover, and roles in inflammation and immune response. The encoded type II transmembrane protein interacts with dnax-activation protein 12 and may play a role in cell activation. Alternative splice variants have been described but their full-length sequence has not been determined.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a member of the C-type lectin/C-type lectin-like domain (CTL/CTLD) superfamily. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

Functions as a positive regulator of osteoclastogenesis. Cell surface receptor that signals via TYROBP. Regulates inflammatory responses. Acts as a key regulator of synovial injury and bone erosion during autoimmune joint inflammation (). Critical macrophage receptor for dengue virus serotypes 1-4.

Product Notes

The CLEC5A clec5a (Catalog #AAA1392350) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli or Yeast or Baculovirus or Mammalian Cell and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 1-188. The amino acid sequence is listed below: MNWHMIISGL IVVVLKVVGM TLFLLYFPQI FNKSNDGFTT TRSYGTVSQI FGSSSPSPNG FITTRSYGTV CPKDWEFYQA RCFFLSTSES SWNESRDFCK GKGSTLAIVN TPEKLKFLQD ITDAEKYFIG LIYHREEKRW RWINNSVFNG NVTNQNQNFN CATIGLTKTF DAASCDISYR RICEKNAK. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "C-type lectin domain family 5 member A (CLEC5A), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
