RalA-binding protein 1 (Ralbp1) Recombinant Protein | Ralbp1 recombinant protein
Recombinant Rat RalA-binding protein 1 (Ralbp1)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
binds the GTP-bound form of Ras-related GTPase RalA; also interacts with Rho family member CDC42 via a specific Rho-GTPase activating domain [RGD, Feb 2006]
Uniprot Description
Can activate specifically hydrolysis of GTP bound to RAC1 and CDC42, but not RALA. Mediates ATP-dependent transport of S-(2,4-dinitrophenyl)-glutathione (DNP-SG) and doxorubicin (DOX) and is the major ATP-dependent transporter of glutathione conjugates of electrophiles (GS-E) and DOX in erythrocytes. Can catalyze transport of glutathione conjugates and xenobiotics, and may contribute to the multidrug resistance phenomenon. Serves as a scaffold protein that brings together proteins forming an endocytotic complex during interphase and also with CDK1 to switch off endocytosis, One of its substrates would be EPN1/Epsin (). Involved in the assembly and function of the mitotic apparatus.

It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "RalA-binding protein 1 (Ralbp1), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
