Related Product Information for CD3E recombinant protein
This protein is the CD3-epsilon polypeptide, which together with CD3-gamma, -delta and -zeta, and the T-cell receptor alpha
beta and gamma
delta heterodimers, forms the T-cell receptor-CD3 complex. This complex plays an important role in coupling antigen recognition to several intracellular signal-transduction pathways. The genes encoding the epsilon, gamma and delta polypeptides are located in the same cluster on chromosome 11. The epsilon polypeptide plays an essential role in T-cell development. Defects in this gene cause immunodeficiency. This gene has also been linked to a susceptibility to type I diabetes in women.

Product Notes

The CD3E cd3e (Catalog #AAA1304969) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli or Yeast or Baculovirus or Mammalian Cell and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 22-100. The amino acid sequence is listed below: QGGQEEFAV EISGTTVTIT CPSSGDDVKW KPDPKMVVNN KYIIQNHDSS PLTVSCTAGD EEHTMYLNAK VCANCEELDT. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "T-cell surface glycoprotein CD3 epsilon chain (CD3E), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
