Myotubularin-related protein 12 (MTMR12) Recombinant Protein | MTMR12 recombinant protein
Recombinant Human Myotubularin-related protein 12 (MTMR12)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Phosphatidylinositide 3-kinase-derived membrane-anchored phosphatidylinositides, such as phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate (PtdIns(3)P), regulate diverse cellular processes. The protein encoded by this gene functions as an adaptor subunit in a complex with an active PtdIns(3)P 3-phosphatase. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jun 2014]
Uniprot Description
Catalytically inactive phosphatase that plays a role as an adapter for the phosphatase myotubularin to regulate myotubularin intracellular location.

It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Myotubularin-related protein 12 (MTMR12), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
