HTH-type transcriptional regulator ebgR (ebgR) Recombinant Protein | ebgR recombinant protein
Recombinant Escherichia coli HTH-type transcriptional regulator ebgR (ebgR)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Wildtype EbgR is inducible by lactose, although this is probably not the natural inducer. [More information is available at EcoGene: EG10254]. EbgR (for "evolved -galactosidase repressor") negatively regulates genes involved in the evolved -galactosidase system, which constitutes an alternative for lactose utilization in cells with mutations on the lacZ gene . [More information is available at EcoCyc: EG10254].
Uniprot Description
Repressor for beta galactosidase alpha and beta subunits (ebgA and ebgC). Binds lactose as an inducer.

It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "HTH-type transcriptional regulator ebgR (ebgR), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
