Human zinc finger and AT hook domain containing ELISA Kit | ZFAT elisa kit
Human Zinc finger protein ZFAT, ZFAT ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a protein that likely binds DNA and functions as a transcriptional regulator involved in apoptosis and cell survival. This gene resides in a susceptibility locus for autoimmune thyroid disease (AITD) on chromosome 8q24. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2009]
Uniprot Description
ZNF406: May be involved in transcriptional regulation. Overexpression causes down-regulation of a number of genes involved in the immune response. Some genes are also up-regulated. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: Transcription factor; C2H2-type zinc finger protein
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 8q24.22

Product Notes
The Human ZFAT zfat (Catalog #AAA9320345) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9320345 ELISA Kit recognizes Human ZFAT. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "zinc finger and AT hook domain containing, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
