Principle of the Assay||This kit was based on sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. anti-Human TACR2 antibody was pre-coated onto 96-well plates. And the biotin conjugated anti-Human TACR2 antibody was used as detection antibodies. The standards, test samples and biotin conjugated detection antibody were added to the wells subsequently, and wash with wash buffer. HRP-Streptavidin was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with wash buffer. TMB substrates were used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the Human TACR2 amount of sample captured in plate. Read the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader, and then the concentration of Human TACR2 can be calculated.
NCBI Description
This gene belongs to a family of genes that function as receptors for tachykinins. Receptor affinities are specified by variations in the 5'-end of the sequence. The receptors belonging to this family are characterized by interactions with G proteins and 7 hydrophobic transmembrane regions. This gene encodes the receptor for the tachykinin neuropeptide substance K, also referred to as neurokinin A. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
TACR2: This is a receptor for the tachykinin neuropeptide substance K (neurokinin A). It is associated with G proteins that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. The rank order of affinity of this receptor to tachykinins is: substance K > neuromedin-K > substance P. Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family.
Protein type: Membrane protein, multi-pass; Receptor, GPCR; Membrane protein, integral; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis; GPCR, family 1

Product Notes
The Human TACR2 tacr2 (Catalog #
AAA761751) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA761751 ELISA Kit recognizes Human TACR2.
It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of
"Tachykinin Receptor 2, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of
the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always
suggest centrifuging these vials
to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to
opening. Please be advised that
certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an
additional dry ice fee may also be
required.
