PTPRU sirna
PTPRU siRNA (Mouse)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
PTPRU: Tyrosine-protein phosphatase which dephosphorylates CTNNB1. Regulates CTNNB1 function both in cell adhesion and signaling. May function in cell proliferation and migration and play a role in the maintenance of epithelial integrity. May play a role in megakaryocytopoiesis. Belongs to the protein-tyrosine phosphatase family. Receptor class 2B subfamily. 4 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: Membrane protein, integral; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis; EC 3.1.3.48; Receptor protein phosphatase, tyrosine
Cellular Component: membrane; integral to membrane; plasma membrane; intercellular junction; cell junction
Molecular Function: hydrolase activity; phosphoric monoester hydrolase activity; beta-catenin binding; protein tyrosine phosphatase activity; phosphoprotein phosphatase activity
Biological Process: negative regulation of cell proliferation; cell-cell adhesion; dephosphorylation; homotypic cell-cell adhesion; Wnt receptor signaling pathway through beta-catenin; protein amino acid dephosphorylation; cell adhesion; cell differentiation; negative regulation of cell migration

Product Notes
The PTPRU ptpru (Catalog #AAA8237685) is a siRNA produced from Synthetic and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PTPRU siRNA (Mouse) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PTPRU can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, RNA Interference (RNAi). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PTPRU ptpru for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PTPRU, siRNA" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
