Form/Format
Supplied as a lyophilized powder with 98mg sucrose, 1.66mg phosphate dibasic, 0.1mg phosphate monobasic, 0.1mg Tween-20 and 0.2mg L-methionine.
Biological Activity
The biological activity is determind by using the Van Hell Bioasssay described in the British Pharmacopeia.
Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Recombinant LHRH in sterile 18M -cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Preparation and Storage
-20 degree C
Stability: Lyophilized Human LHRH although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18 degree C. Upon reconstitution rhLHRH should be stored at 4 degree C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18 degree C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Related Product Information for Gnrh1 active protein
Recombinant Human LHRH is a heterodimeric, glycosylated, polypeptide chain consisting of two non-covalently linked subunits a and b of 92 and 121 amino acids respectively. The carobhydrate chain attachment to the Recombinant LHRH protein core accurs via N- but not O-linkage. The N-glycosilation sites are Asn-52 and Asn-78 for the a subunit and Asn-30 for the b subunit. The b chain has an N-glycosilation site and its structure and glycosilation pattern are very similar to that of pituitary LHRH.

Product Notes

The Gnrh1 gnrh1 (Catalog #AAA635522) is an Active Protein produced from Saccharomyces cerevisiae and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Luteinizing Hormone Releasing Hormone, Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
