Porcine Retinoic acid induced protein 3 ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the type 3 G protein-coupling receptor family, characterized by the signature 7-transmembrane domain motif. The encoded protein may be involved in interaction between retinoid acid and G protein signalling pathways. Retinoic acid plays a critical role in development, cellular growth, and differentiation. This gene may play a role in embryonic development and epithelial cell differentiation. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
RAIG1: a G protein coupled receptor that is induced by all-trans retinoic acid (ATRA). Retinoic acids (RA) are a group of pleiotropic signaling molecules that regulate a broad range of physiologic and developmental processes. RAIG1 is expressed in lung tissue and in several lung cancer cell lines. This retinoic acid-inducible GPCR provides evidence for an interaction between retinoid and G-protein signaling pathways.

Product Notes
The Porcine RIA3 gprc5a (Catalog #AAA745710) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA745710 ELISA Kit recognizes Porcine RIA3. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Retinoic acid induced protein 3, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
