Rat
Specificity
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of Rat TDGF1. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Rat TDGF1 and analogues was observed. Note: Limited by current skills and knowledge, it is impossible for us to complete the cross- reactivity detection between Rat TDGF1 and all the analogues, therefore, cross reaction may still exist.

Related Product Information for TDGF1 elisa kit
Description: The kit is a sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of TDGF1 in Rat serum, plasma and other biological fluids
Principle of the Assay: This ELISA kit uses Sandwich-ELISA as the method. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat TDGF1. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate micro ELISA plate wells and bound by the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat TDGF1 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate is added to each micro plate well successively and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat TDGF1, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm +/- 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat TDGF1. You can calculate the concentration of Rat TDGF1 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes an epidermal growth factor-related protein that contains a cripto, FRL-1, and cryptic domain. The encoded protein is an extracellular, membrane-bound signaling protein that plays an essential role in embryonic development and tumor growth. Mutations in this gene are associated with forebrain defects. Pseudogenes of this gene are found on chromosomes 2, 3, 6, 8, 19 and X. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Uniprot Description

TDGF1: Could play a role in the determination of the epiblastic cells that subsequently give rise to the mesoderm. Interacts with the activin type-1 receptor ACVR1B. Preferentially expressed in gastric and colorectal carcinomas than in their normal counterparts. Expressed in breast and lung.

Product Notes

The Rat TDGF1 tdgf1 (Catalog #AAA2515562) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2515562 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat TDGF1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TDGF1, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
