Rat Cell differentiation protein RCD1 homolog (RQCD1) ELISA Kit | RQCD1 elisa kit
Rat Cell differentiation protein RCD1 homolog (RQCD1) ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the highly conserved RCD1 protein family. The encoded protein is a transcriptional cofactor and a core protein of the CCR4-NOT complex. It may be involved in signal transduction as well as retinoic acid-regulated cell differentiation and development. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2012]
Uniprot Description
RQCD1: Transcription factor that down-regulates MYB- and JUN- dependent transcription. May play a role in cell differentiation. Can bind oligonucleotides, such as poly-G, poly-C or poly-T (in vitro), but the physiological relevance of this is not certain. Does not bind poly-A. Enhances ligand-dependent transcriptional activity of nuclear hormone receptors, including RARA, expect ESR1-mediated transcription that is not only slightly increased, if at all. Belongs to the RCD1 family.
Protein type: Cancer Testis Antigen (CTA)
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 2q35
Cellular Component: membrane; cytosol; nucleus; CCR4-NOT complex
Molecular Function: protein domain specific binding; protein binding; protein homodimerization activity
Biological Process: regulation of translation; poly(A) tail shortening; transcription, DNA-dependent; regulation of transcription, DNA-dependent; cytokine and chemokine mediated signaling pathway; gene expression; RNA-mediated gene silencing; sex differentiation; negative regulation of estrogen receptor signaling pathway; mRNA catabolic process, deadenylation-dependent decay

Product Notes
The Rat RQCD1 rqcd1 (Catalog #AAA7206540) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA7206540 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat RQCD1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Cell differentiation protein RCD1 homolog (RQCD1), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
