Related Product Information for anti-SMAD3-T179 antibody
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the SMAD, a family of proteins similar to the gene products of the Drosophila gene 'mothers against decapentaplegic' (Mad) and the C. elegans gene Sma. SMAD proteins are signal transducers and transcriptional modulators that mediate multiple signaling pathways. This protein functions as a transcriptional modulator activated by transforming growth factor-beta and is thought to play a role in the regulation of carcinogenesis.

Product Notes

The SMAD3-T179 smad3 (Catalog #AAA9129019) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Phospho-SMAD3-T179 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Phospho-SMAD3-T179 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 1:500 - 1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SMAD3-T179 smad3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Phospho-SMAD3-T179, Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
