Endotoxin Removal (Polymyxin B) Purification Kit
Endotoxin Removal Kit (Polymyxin B)
High performance: Protein recovery is more than 85%.Reducing final EU concentration to 0.1EU/mL
Cost-effective: No performance decrease after at least five repeated uses of the same batch of resin.
Flexible: available in multiple formats including bulk resin, spin columns and complete kits.
Endotoxin Removal Resin has been designed to reduce endotoxin levels in protein samples by >=99% while maximizing protein recovery. The Resin consists of 90um beads of cross-linked 4% agarose, to which modified polymyxin B: PMB has been coupled. Tests confirm that performance equals or exceeds popular polymyxin B: PMB resins from other suppliers, and no decrease in performance occurs after at least five repeated uses.

Background: Endotoxin Removal Resin is effective for reducing endotoxin levels in protein samples. Endotoxins, also known as lipopolysaccharides or LPS, are cell membrane components of Gram-negative bacteria (e.g. E. coli). Endotoxins strongly influence transfection of DNA into primary cells and sensitive cultured cells, and increased endotoxin levels lead to sharply reduced transfection efficiencies. The Resin consists of 90um beads of cross-linked 4% agarose, to which modified polymyxin B has been coupled. The portfolio allow optimization of process for maximum protein yield, stability and solubility. Tests also confirm that no decrease in performance occurs after at least five repeated uses. The Endotoxin Removal Resin is also available as prepacked spin column and kit formats.

Product Notes
The Endotoxin Removal (Polymyxin B) (Catalog #AAA9719244) is a Purification Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Endotoxin Removal (Polymyxin B), Purification Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
