Procedure
Recombinant Plasmodium falciparum Histidine-Rich Protein II (UniProt#P90582, a.a.21-309) with a 6xHIS tag was expressed in E.coli and purified by nickel affinity chromatography. Under reducing conditions, the protein is detected at an estimated molecular weight of ~40kDa.
Specification
The product is determined to be >90% pure based on SDS-PAGE analysis. Its concentration is determined using a Bradford protein assay with a BSA standard curve. The protein reacts with the monoclonal Mouse anti-Plasmodium falciparum MBS563504 antibody, as verified by western blotting and ELISA.
Preparation and Storage
Store at -20°C. The thawed product is stable at 2-8°C for one week. Following the initial thaw, please prepare multiple aliquots and store at -20°C. It is not recommended to store the product in a frost-free freezer. Multiple freeze-thaw cycles are not recommended.
