Related Product Information for anti-ZNF703 antibody
ZNF703 (zinc finger protein 703) is a 590 amino acid nuclear protein that contains one C2H2-type zinc finger and is thought to play a role in transcriptional regulation. Multiple isoforms of ZNF703 exist due to alternative splicing events. The gene encoding ZNF703 maps to human chromosome 8, which consists of nearly 146 million base pairs, houses more than 800 genes and is associated with a variety of diseases and malignancies. Schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, Trisomy 8, Pfeiffer syndrome, congenital hypothyroidism, Waardenburg syndrome and some leukemias and lymphomas are thought to occur as a result of defects in specific genes that map to chromosome 8.

Uniprot Description

ZNF703: Transcriptional corepressor which does not bind directly to DNA and may regulate transcription through recruitment of histone deacetylases to gene promoters. Regulates cell adhesion, migration and proliferation. May be required for segmental gene expression during hindbrain development. Luminal B breast cancers are the clinically more aggressive estrogen receptor-positive tumors. Amplification of a distal 8p12 locus occurs in around one third of the cases and ZNF703 is the single gene within the minimal amplicon. Amplification of the gene correlates with its protein expression in tumor cells. ZNF703 is a classical breast cancer oncogene since it is able to transform non-malignant cells and increase cellular proliferation. Belongs to the Elbow/Noc family.

Product Notes

The ZNF703 znf703 (Catalog #AAA2563435) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ZNF703 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ZNF703 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA (EIA). IHC: 1:30-1:150 ELISA: 1:5000-1:10000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ZNF703 znf703 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ZNF703, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
