Encodes a member of the TTL family and contains a thioredoxin like domain and three tandom TPRs. Interacts physically with BRL2/VH1 and appears to play a role in brassiosteroid and auxin signaling. Belongs to one of the 36 carboxylate clamp (CC)-tetratricopeptide repeat (TPR) proteins (Prasad 2010, Pubmed ID: 20856808) with potential to interact with Hsp90/Hsp70 as co-chaperones. The TTL family is required for osmotic stress tolerance and male sporogenesis.
