NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family. The TRIM motif includes three zinc-binding domains, a RING, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region. The protein localizes to microtubular structures in the cytoplasm. Alternate splicing of this gene results in two transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2009]

Product Notes
The TRIM1 mid2 (Catalog #AAA241947) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Goat Polyclonal to Human TRIM1 / MID2 reacts with Gibbon, Gorilla, Human, Monkey, Mouse Predicted Reactivity: Rat, Bat, Dog, Horse, Pig, Chicken (at least 90% immunogen sequence identity) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TRIM1 / MID2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC - Paraffin), Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). ELISA (1:32000), IHC-P (5 ug/ml), WB (1:32000, 1 - 3 ug/ml) Usage: Immunohistochemistry: was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary anti.. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TRIM1 mid2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TRIM1 / MID2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
