Interacts (via extracellular domain) with TLR2. Ligand binding induces the formation of a heterodimer with TLR2. Ubiquitous. Highly expressed in spleen, ovary, peripheral blood leukocytes, thymus and small intestine. Belongs to the Toll-like receptor family.
