Rabbit anti-Human, Mouse TFIIH Polyclonal Antibody | anti-TFIIH antibody
Anti-TFIIH p89 Antibody
IHC: 1:50-1:200
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of TFIIH p89 expression in MCF7 (A), mouse brain (B) whole cell lysates.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Immunohistochemical analysis of TFIIH p89 staining in mouse lung formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes an ATP-dependent DNA helicase that functions in nucleotide excision repair. The encoded protein is a subunit of basal transcription factor 2 (TFIIH) and, therefore, also functions in class II transcription. Mutations in this gene are associated with Xeroderma pigmentosum B, Cockayne's syndrome, and trichothiodystrophy. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Uniprot Description
XPB: ATP-dependent 3'-5' DNA helicase, component of the core- TFIIH basal transcription factor, involved in nucleotide excision repair (NER) of DNA and, when complexed to CAK, in RNA transcription by RNA polymerase II. Acts by opening DNA either around the RNA transcription start site or the DNA damage. One of the 6 subunits forming the core-TFIIH basal transcription factor which associates with the CAK complex composed of CDK7, CCNH/cyclin H and MNAT1 to form the TFIIH basal transcription factor. Interacts with PUF60. Interacts with ATF7IP. Interacts with Epstein-Barr virus EBNA2. Belongs to the helicase family. RAD25/XPB subfamily.

Product Notes
The TFIIH ercc3 (Catalog #AAA8306592) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-TFIIH p89 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TFIIH can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). WB: 1:500-1:2000 IHC: 1:50-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TFIIH ercc3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TFIIH, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
