Uniprot Description

TAS2R45: Receptor that may play a role in the perception of bitterness and is gustducin-linked. May play a role in sensing the chemical composition of the gastrointestinal content. The activity of this receptor may stimulate alpha gustducin, mediate PLC-beta-2 activation and lead to the gating of TRPM5. Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor T2R family.

Protein type: Receptor, GPCR; Membrane protein, integral; GPCR, T2R family; Membrane protein, multi-pass

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: -

Cellular Component: plasma membrane; integral to membrane

Molecular Function: bitter taste receptor activity

Biological Process: G-protein coupled receptor protein signaling pathway; detection of chemical stimulus involved in sensory perception of bitter taste

Product Notes

The TAS2R45 tas2r45 (Catalog #AAA5302884) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's TAS2R45 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:500-1:1000 ELISA: 1:5000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TAS2R45 tas2r45 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TAS2R45, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
