NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
TAGLN3: a cytoskeleton-associated protein that colocalizes with microtubules and actin. Its expression rises incrementally during rat brain development, with highest expression during synaptogenesis. Its expression is altered in the frontal cortex but not the motor cortex of alcoholic human brains. Induced in rat brains during adaptation to ethanol. Contains a CH-domain and a Calponin-domain.
Protein type: Actin-binding
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 3q13.2
Cellular Component: nucleus
Molecular Function: actin filament binding
Biological Process: central nervous system development; negative regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter

Product Notes
The TAGLN3 tagln3 (Catalog #AAA6353493) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TAGLN3, NT (TAGLN3, NP25, Transgelin-3, Neuronal protein 22, Neuronal protein NP25) (FITC) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TAGLN3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), FLISA. WB: 1:100-500 FLISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TAGLN3 tagln3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TAGLN3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
