Rabbit anti-Human T-complex Protein 1 Subunit gamma Polyclonal Antibody | anti-TCP-1-gamma antibody
T-complex Protein 1 Subunit gamma, CT (CCT3, TCP-1-gamma, CCT-gamma, hTRiC5, TRIC5, CCTG) (APC)
FLISA: 1:1,000
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of CCT3 Antibody (C-term) in K562 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). CCT3 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human lung carcinoma reacted with CCT3 Antibody (C-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(Flow cytometric analysis of K562 cells using CCT3 Antibody (C-term)(bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram)FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a molecular chaperone that is a member of the chaperonin containing TCP1 complex (CCT), also known as the TCP1 ring complex (TRiC). This complex consists of two identical stacked rings, each containing eight different proteins. Unfolded polypeptides enter the central cavity of the complex and are folded in an ATP-dependent manner. The complex folds various proteins, including actin and tubulin. Alternate transcriptional splice variants have been characterized for this gene. In addition, a pseudogene of this gene has been found on chromosome 8. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2010]
Uniprot Description
CCT3: Molecular chaperone; assists the folding of proteins upon ATP hydrolysis. As part of the BBS/CCT complex may play a role in the assembly of BBSome, a complex involved in ciliogenesis regulating transports vesicles to the cilia. Known to play a role, in vitro, in the folding of actin and tubulin. Belongs to the TCP-1 chaperonin family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The TCP-1-gamma cct3 (Catalog #AAA6502206) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The T-complex Protein 1 Subunit gamma, CT (CCT3, TCP-1-gamma, CCT-gamma, hTRiC5, TRIC5, CCTG) (APC) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's T-complex Protein 1 Subunit gamma can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), FLISA. WB: 1:100-1:500 FLISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TCP-1-gamma cct3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "T-complex Protein 1 Subunit gamma, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
