Rabbit anti-Human STAT5B Polyclonal Antibody | anti-STAT5B antibody
STAT5B (Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 5B) (Biotin)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western Blot analysis of STAT5B expression in transfected 293T cell line by STAT5B polyclonal antibody. Lane 1: STAT5B transfected lysate (44.9kD). Lane 2: Non-transfected lysate.)
Testing Data
(Proximity Ligation Analysis (PLA) of protein-protein interactions between STAT5B and CTLA4. HeLa cells were stained with STAT5B rabbit purified polyclonal 1:1200 and CTLA4 mouse monoclonal antibody 1:50. Signals were detected by 30 Detection Kit 613 (red), and nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue). Each red dot represents the detection of protein-protein interaction complex.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the STAT family of transcription factors. In response to cytokines and growth factors, STAT family members are phosphorylated by the receptor associated kinases, and then form homo- or heterodimers that translocate to the cell nucleus where they act as transcription activators. This protein mediates the signal transduction triggered by various cell ligands, such as IL2, IL4, CSF1, and different growth hormones. It has been shown to be involved in diverse biological processes, such as TCR signaling, apoptosis, adult mammary gland development, and sexual dimorphism of liver gene expression. This gene was found to fuse to retinoic acid receptor-alpha (RARA) gene in a small subset of acute promyelocytic leukemias (APLL). The dysregulation of the signaling pathways mediated by this protein may be the cause of the APLL. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes
The STAT5B (Catalog #AAA6395270) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The STAT5B (Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 5B) (Biotin) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's STAT5B can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the STAT5B for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "STAT5B, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
