Immunofluorescence (IF)

(Immunofluorescence staining of SSBP1 in A431 cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS,blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-Human SSBP1 polyclonal antibody (dilution ratio 1:1000) at 4 degree C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green) and counterstained with DAPI (blue).Positive staining was localized to Cytoplasm.)

Related Product Information for anti-SSBP1 antibody
SSBP1 (Single-Stranded DNA Binding Protein 1) is a Protein Coding gene. The SSBP1 gene, located on 7q34, is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, mouse, rat, chicken, zebrafish, fruit fly, mosquito, and frog. SSBP1 is a housekeeping gene involved in mitochondrial biogenesis. It is also a subunit of a single-stranded DNA (ssDNA)-binding complex involved in the maintenance of genome stability. Nuclear genes encode several proteins that function at the mtDNA replication fork, including mitochondrial single-stranded DNA-binding protein (SSBP1), which is a tetrameric protein that binds and protects single-stranded mtDNA (ssDNA). SSBP1 is widely expressed in the appendix, adrenal, and other tissues. Diseases associated with SSBP1 include Mitochondrial Dna Depletion Syndrome 7 and Autosomal Dominant Non-Syndromic Sensorineural Deafness Type Dfna.

Product Notes

The SSBP1 (Catalog #AAA8109472) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-SSBP1 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SSBP1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunoprecipitation (IP). WB: 1:500-1:1000 ICC/IF: 1:500-1:2500 IP: 1-2uL/mg of lysate. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SSBP1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SSBP1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
