Rabbit anti-Human SLA2 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-SLA2 antibody
SLA2 (Src-like-adapter 2, Src-like Adapter Protein 2, SLAP-2, Modulator of Antigen Receptor Signaling, MARS, C20orf156, SLAP2) (FITC)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the SLAP family of adapter proteins. The encoded protein may play an important receptor-proximal role in downregulating T and B cell-mediated responses and inhibits antigen receptor-induced calcium mobilization. This protein interacts with Cas-Br-M (murine) ecotropic retroviral transforming sequence c. Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene. Uniprot Description
SLAP2: Adapter protein, which negatively regulates T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling. Inhibits T-cell antigen-receptor induced activation of nuclear factor of activated T-cells. May act by linking signaling proteins such as ZAP70 with CBL, leading to a CBL dependent degradation of signaling proteins. 4 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: Vesicle; Adaptor/scaffold
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 20q11.23
Cellular Component: late endosome; cytoplasmic membrane-bound vesicle; cytoplasm; plasma membrane; endosome membrane
Molecular Function: protein binding; SH3/SH2 adaptor activity; protein N-terminus binding
Biological Process: negative regulation of calcium-mediated signaling; antigen receptor-mediated signaling pathway; B cell mediated immunity; regulation of immune response; intracellular receptor-mediated signaling pathway; T cell activation; positive regulation of signal transduction; negative regulation of B cell activation; negative regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter

Product Notes
The SLA2 sla2 (Catalog #AAA6394237) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The SLA2 (Src-like-adapter 2, Src-like Adapter Protein 2, SLAP-2, Modulator of Antigen Receptor Signaling, MARS, C20orf156, SLAP2) (FITC) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SLA2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SLA2 sla2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SLA2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
