NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the NR1 subfamily of nuclear hormone receptors. It is a DNA-binding protein that can bind as a monomer or as a homodimer to hormone response elements upstream of several genes to enhance the expression of those genes. The encoded protein has been shown to interact with NM23-2, a nucleoside diphosphate kinase involved in organogenesis and differentiation, and to help regulate the expression of some genes involved in circadian rhythm. Uniprot Description
RORB: Orphan nuclear receptor required for normal postnatal development of rod and cone photoreceptor cells. Regulates transcription of OPN1SW in cone photoreceptor cells by binding the sequence 5'-AGGTCA-3' in the OPN1SW promoter. Belongs to the nuclear hormone receptor family. NR1 subfamily. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The RORB rorb (Catalog #AAA8100979) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-ROR beta Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ROR beta can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 1:500-1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RORB rorb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ROR beta, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
