Related Product Information for anti-RNF34 antibody
This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against RNF34. It was validated on Western Blot using a cell lysate as a positive control.

Target Description: RNF34 contains a RINF finger, a motif known to be involved in protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions. This protein interacts with DNAJA3/hTid-1, which is a DnaJ protein reported to function as a modulator of apoptosis. Overexpression of this gene in Hela cells was shown to confer the resistance to TNF-alpha induced apoptosis, suggesting an anti-apoptotic function of this protein. This protein can be cleaved by caspase-3 during the induction of apoptosis. The protein encoded by this gene contains a RINF finger, a motif known to be involved in protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions. NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene contains a RINF finger, a motif known to be involved in protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions. This protein also targets p53 and phospho-p53 for degradation. Alternatively splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2012]

Uniprot Description

RNF34: Has E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase activity. Regulates the levels of CASP8 and CASP10 by targeting them for proteasomal degradation. Protects cells against apoptosis induced by TNF. Binds phosphatidylinositol 5-phosphate and phosphatidylinositol 3- phosphate. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes

The RNF34 rnf34 (Catalog #AAA3205033) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The RNF34 antibody - middle region reacts with Cow, Dog, Guinea Pig, Horse, Human, Rabbit, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's RNF34 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RNF34 rnf34 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: LVDLVLCHHG LGSEDDMDTS SLNSSRSQTS SFFTRSFFSN YTAPSATMSS. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "RNF34, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
