Target Description: RFX4 is a transcription factors that contain a highly-conserved winged helix DNA binding domain. RFX4 is structurally related to regulatory factors X1, X2, X3, and X5. It has been shown to interact with itself as well as with regulatory factors X2 and X3, but it does not interact with regulatory factor X1. RFX4 may be a transcriptional repressor rather than a transcriptional activator. This gene is a member of the regulatory factor X gene family, which encodes transcription factors that contain a highly-conserved winged helix DNA binding domain. NCBI Description

This gene is a member of the regulatory factor X gene family, which encodes transcription factors that contain a highly-conserved winged helix DNA binding domain. The protein encoded by this gene is structurally related to regulatory factors X1, X2, X3, and X5. It has been shown to interact with itself as well as with regulatory factors X2 and X3, but it does not interact with regulatory factor X1. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, May 2011]

Product Notes

The RFX4 rfx4 (Catalog #AAA3205005) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The RFX4 antibody - N-terminal region reacts with Dog, Guinea Pig, Horse, Human, Mouse, Rabbit, Rat, Yeast, Zebrafish and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's RFX4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RFX4 rfx4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: STESWIERCL NESENKRYSS HTSLGNVSND ENEEKENNRA SKPHSTPATL. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "RFX4, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
