Uniprot Description
TNFSF11: Cytokine that binds to TNFRSF11B/OPG and to TNFRSF11A/RANK. Osteoclast differentiation and activation factor. Augments the ability of dendritic cells to stimulate naive T-cell proliferation. May be an important regulator of interactions between T-cells and dendritic cells and may play a role in the regulation of the T-cell-dependent immune response. May also play an important role in enhanced bone-resorption in humoral hypercalcemia of malignancy. Homotrimer. Up-regulated by T-cell receptor stimulation. Highest in the peripheral lymph nodes, weak in spleen, peripheral blood Leukocytes, bone marrow, heart, placenta, skeletal muscle, stomach and thyroid. Belongs to the tumor necrosis factor family. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The RANkL tnfsf11 (Catalog #AAA2028403) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Polyclonal Antibody to Receptor Activator Of Nuclear Factor Kappa B Ligand (RANkL) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Receptor Activator Of Nuclear Factor Kappa B can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Formalin/Paraffin, ELISA (EIA). Western blotting: 0.5-2?g/mL Immunohistochemistry: 5-20?g/mL Immunocytochemistry: 5-20?g/mL Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RANkL tnfsf11 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Receptor Activator Of Nuclear Factor Kappa B, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
