Rabbit anti-Human, Mouse PTP gamma Polyclonal Antibody | anti-PTPRG antibody
PTP gamma, ID (Receptor-type Tyrosine-protein Phosphatase gamma, Protein-tyrosine Phosphatase gamma, R-PTP-gamma, PTPRG, PTPG) (MaxLight 490)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family. PTPs are known to be signaling molecules that regulate a variety of cellular processes including cell growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation. This PTP possesses an extracellular region, a single transmembrane region, and two tandem intracytoplasmic catalytic domains, and thus represents a receptor-type PTP. The extracellular region of this PTP contains a carbonic anhydrase-like (CAH) domain, which is also found in the extracellular region of PTPRBETA/ZETA. This gene is located in a chromosomal region that is frequently deleted in renal cell carcinoma and lung carcinoma, thus is thought to be a candidate tumor suppressor gene. Product Notes
The PTPRG ptprg (Catalog #AAA6495802) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PTP gamma, ID (Receptor-type Tyrosine-protein Phosphatase gamma, Protein-tyrosine Phosphatase gamma, R-PTP-gamma, PTPRG, PTPG) (MaxLight 490) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PTP gamma can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, FLISA, Western Blot (WB). Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PTPRG ptprg for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PTP gamma, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
