Rabbit anti-Human PRELP Polyclonal Antibody | anti-PRELP antibody
PRELP, CT (Prolargin, Proline-arginine-rich End Leucine-rich Repeat Protein, SLRR2A)
Purified by ammonium sulfate precipitation.
Purified by ammonium sulfate precipitation.
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:50-1:100
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of PRELP antibody (C-term) in Y79 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). PRELP (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human hepatocarcinoma with PRELP Antibody (C-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(Flow cytometric analysis of widr cells using PRELP Antibody (C-term)(bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a leucine-rich repeat protein present in connective tissue extracellular matrix. This protein functions as a molecule anchoring basement membranes to the underlying connective tissue. This protein has been shown to bind type I collagen to basement membranes and type II collagen to cartilage. It also binds the basement membrane heparan sulfate proteoglycan perlecan. This protein is suggested to be involved in the pathogenesis of Hutchinson-Gilford progeria (HGP), which is reported to lack the binding of collagen in basement membranes and cartilage. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been observed. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes
The PRELP prelp (Catalog #AAA630817) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PRELP, CT (Prolargin, Proline-arginine-rich End Leucine-rich Repeat Protein, SLRR2A) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PRELP can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB). Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:50-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PRELP prelp for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PRELP, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
