Related Product Information for anti-PPP1R3A antibody
The glycogen-associated form of protein phosphatase-1 (PP1) derived from skeletal muscle is a heterodimer composed of a 37-kD catalytic subunit and a 124-kD targeting and regulatory subunit. This gene encodes the regulatory subunit which binds to muscle glycogen with high affinity, thereby enhancing dephosphorylation of glycogen-bound substrates for PP1 such as glycogen synthase and glycogen phosphorylase kinase. Uniprot Description

PPP1R3A: Seems to act as a glycogen-targeting subunit for PP1. PP1 is essential for cell division, and participates in the regulation of glycogen metabolism, muscle contractility and protein synthesis. Plays an important role in glycogen synthesis but is not essential for insulin activation of glycogen synthase. Interacts with PPP1CC catalytic subunit of PP1, and associates with glycogen. Skeletal muscle and heart. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes

The PPP1R3A ppp1r3a (Catalog #AAA6336548) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PPP1R3A, ID (PPP1R3A, PP1G, Protein phosphatase 1 regulatory subunit 3A, Protein phosphatase 1 glycogen-associated regulatory subunit, Protein phosphatase type-1 glycogen targeting subunit) (Azide free) (HRP) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PPP1R3A can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:100-500 ELISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PPP1R3A ppp1r3a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PPP1R3A, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
