Recognizes non-reduced human PDGF AA, AB and BB dimers in Western Blot. Species Crossreactivity: porcine and bovine PDGF may be detected with decreased sensitivity. Rodent PDGF will not be detected. This antibody will neutralize human, porcine, bovine and rodent PDGF.

Application Notes
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Growth Inhibition Assays.
Dilution: Western Blot: 5-10ug/ml, under non-reducing conditions, detects 100ng of human PDGF-AB (MW~28kD) as well as 100ng of human PDGF-BB (MW~30-32kD).
Growth Inhibition Assay: In a 5 day assay, 10-20ug/ml inhibited 3T3 cell growth by 100% as stimulated by 10ng/ml of PDGF-AB.
Opimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
