Related Product Information for anti-PITPNB antibody
PITPNB (Phosphatidylinositol Transfer Protein Beta) is a Protein Coding gene. The PITPNB gene, located on 22q12.1, is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, mouse, rat, chicken, zebrafish, fruit fly, mosquito, C.elegans, and frog. This gene encodes a cytoplasmic protein that catalyzes the transfer of phosphatidylinositol and phosphatidylcholine between membranes. This transfer activity is required for COPI complex-mediated retrograde transport from the Golgi apparatus to the endoplasmic reticulum. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants. Diseases associated with PITPNB include Cleft Soft Palate. Among its related pathways are Metabolism and Glycerophospholipid biosynthesis. 208 organisms have orthologs with the human gene PITPNB.

Product Notes

The PITPNB (Catalog #AAA8108096) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-PITPNB Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PITPNB can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF). WB: 1:500-1:2000 ICC/IF: 1:100-1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PITPNB for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PITPNB, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
