Related Product Information for anti-PIM3 antibody
KID-1 is an immediate early gene in the PIM protein kinase subfamily. KID-1 is induced by depolarization in PC12 cells and in brain. In brain, KID-1 expression is induced after generalized seizures and is limited to specific areas of the hippocampus and temporal lobe. The PIM kinases are important mediators of the neuronal plasticity following synaptic activity, which is necessary for brain development and for learning and memory.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the Ser/Thr protein kinase family, and PIM subfamily. This gene is overexpressed in hematological and epithelial tumors and is associated with MYC coexpression. It plays a role in the regulation of signal transduction cascades, contributing to both cell proliferation and survival, and provides a selective advantage in tumorigenesis. [provided by RefSeq, Jun 2012]

Product Notes

The PIM3 pim3 (Catalog #AAA242649) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rabbit Polyclonal to Human PIM3 / PIM-3 reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PIM3 / PIM-3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC - Paraffin), Western Blot (WB). IHC-P (10 ug/ml), WB (1:1000) Usage: Immunohistochemistry: was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary anti.. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PIM3 pim3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PIM3 / PIM-3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
