Rabbit anti-Human Phosphorylase Kinase Subunit gamma 1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-PHKG1 antibody
Phosphorylase Kinase Subunit gamma 1 (PHKG1, Phosphorylase B Kinase gamma Catalytic Chain Skeletal Muscle Isoform, PHKG) (Biotin)
ELISA: 1:1,000
WB: 1:100-1:500
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of anti-PHKG1 Pab in A375 cell lysate. PHKG1 (arrow) was detected using purified Pab. Secondary HRP-anti-rabbit was used for signal visualization with chemiluminescence.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human cancer tissue reacted with the primary antibody, which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by AEC staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. BC = breast carcinoma; HC = hepatocarcinoma.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene is a member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase family and encodes a protein with one protein kinase domain and two calmodulin-binding domains. This protein is the catalytic member of a 16 subunit protein kinase complex which contains equimolar ratios of 4 subunit types. The complex is a crucial glycogenolytic regulatory enzyme. This gene has two pseudogenes at chromosome 7q11.21 and one at chromosome 11p11.12. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Uniprot Description
PHKG1: a Ca(2+)/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase of the PHK family. Phosphorylase kinase is a polymer of 16 chains, four each of alpha, beta, gamma, and delta. Alpha and beta are regulatory chains, gamma is the catalytic chain, and delta is calmodulin.

Product Notes
The PHKG1 phkg1 (Catalog #AAA6493324) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Phosphorylase Kinase Subunit gamma 1 (PHKG1, Phosphorylase B Kinase gamma Catalytic Chain Skeletal Muscle Isoform, PHKG) (Biotin) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Phosphorylase Kinase Subunit gamma 1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). IHC: 1:50-1:100 ELISA: 1:1,000 WB: 1:100-1:500 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PHKG1 phkg1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Phosphorylase Kinase Subunit gamma 1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
