Rabbit anti-Human, Mouse Pbk Polyclonal Antibody | anti-Pbk antibody
Mouse Pbk Antibody (N-term)
IHC-P~~1:25
FC~~1:25
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded R. testis section using Mouse Pbk Antibody(N-term). MBS9212584 was diluted at 1:25 dilution. A undiluted biotinylated goat polyvalent antibody was used as the secondary, followed by DAB staining.)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of lysate from Hela cell line, using Mouse Pbk Antibody (N-term). MBS9212584 was diluted at 1:1000. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L(HRP) at 1:5000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody. Lysate at 35ug.)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of lysate from mouse testis tissue lysate, using Mouse Pbk Antibody (N-term). MBS9212584 was diluted at 1:1000 at each lane. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L(HRP) at 1:5000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody. Lysate at 35ug per lane.)
Flow Cytometry
(Overlay histogram showing A431 cells stained with MBS9212584 (red line). The cells were fixed with 2% paraformaldehyde (10 min) and then permeabilized with 90% methanol for 10 min. The cells were then icubated in 2% bovine serum albumin to block non-specific protein-protein interactions followed by the antibody (MBS9212584, 1:25 dilution) for 60 min at 37ºC. The secondary antibody used was Alexa Fluor® 488 goat anti-rabbit lgG (H+L) (1583138) at 1/400 dilution for 40 min at 37°C. Isotype control antibody (blue line) was rabbit IgG1 (1μg/1x106 cells) used under the same conditions. Acquisition of >10, 000 events was performed.)

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
PBK: Phosphorylates MAP kinase p38. Seems to be active only in mitosis. May also play a role in the activation of lymphoid cells. When phosphorylated, forms a complex with TP53, leading to TP53 destabilization and attenuation of G2/M checkpoint during doxorubicin-induced DNA damage. Interacts with DLG1 and TP53. Expressed in the testis and placenta. In the testis, restrictedly expressed in outer cell layer of seminiferous tubules. Activated by phosphorylation. Belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. Ser/Thr protein kinase family. MAP kinase kinase subfamily.
Protein type: Kinase, protein; Cancer Testis Antigen (CTA); Protein kinase, Other; EC 2.7.12.2; Protein kinase, Ser/Thr (non-receptor); Other group; TOPK family
Molecular Function: transferase activity; protein serine/threonine kinase activity; transferase activity, transferring phosphorus-containing groups; nucleotide binding; kinase activity; ATP binding; protein kinase activity
Biological Process: peptidyl-serine phosphorylation; negative regulation of protein amino acid phosphorylation; negative regulation of inflammatory response; peptidyl-threonine phosphorylation; negative regulation of stress-activated MAPK cascade; protein amino acid phosphorylation; phosphorylation; negative regulation of proteasomal ubiquitin-dependent protein catabolic process

Product Notes
The Pbk pbk (Catalog #AAA9212584) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 58-86. The Mouse Pbk Antibody (N-term) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Pbk can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry Paraffin (IHC-P), Western Blot (WB), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) . WB~~1:1000 IHC-P~~1:25 FC~~1:25. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Pbk pbk for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Pbk, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
