Uniprot Description

PARVA: Probably plays a role in the regulation of cell adhesion and cytoskeleton organization. Plays a role in ciliogenesis. Interacts with TGFB1I1. Interacts with integrin-linked protein kinase and probably with actin and the LD1 and LD4 motifs of PXN. Interacts with ARHGAP31. Widely expressed, with highest levels in heart, skeletal muscle, kidney and liver. Belongs to the parvin family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Motility/polarity/chemotaxis; Adaptor/scaffold

Cellular Component: protein complex; focal adhesion; cytoskeleton; membrane; lamellipodium; cytoplasm; plasma membrane; nucleus; cell junction; actin cytoskeleton

Molecular Function: protein binding; actin binding

Biological Process: regulation of cell shape; heterotypic cell-cell adhesion; cell projection organization and biogenesis; protein heterooligomerization; actin cytoskeleton reorganization; establishment and/or maintenance of cell polarity; angiogenesis; sprouting angiogenesis; chemotaxis; cell adhesion; actin cytoskeleton organization and biogenesis

Product Notes

The Parva parva (Catalog #AAA9202281) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 66-93. The Mouse Parva Antibody (N-term) reacts with Mouse (Predicted Reactivity: Rat) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Parva can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Parva parva for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Parva, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
