PARK2, NT (E3 Ubiquitin-protein Ligase Parkin, PRKN, Parkinson Juvenile Disease Protein 2, Parkinson Disease Protein 2)
Purified by ammonium sulfate precipitation.
Purified by ammonium sulfate precipitation.
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-1:500
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of anti-PARK2 (Parkin) Antibody (N-term) in NCI-H460 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). PARK2 (Parkin)(arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(Parkin Antibody (N-term) flow cytometric analysis of NCI-H460 cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Confocal immunofluorescent analysis of Parkin Antibody (N-term) with NCI-H460 cell followed by Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green).Actin filaments have been labeled with Alexa Fluor 555 phalloidin (red).DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Parkin Antibody (N-term) (AP6402a)immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human brain tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of Parkin Antibody (N-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The precise function of this gene is unknown; however, the encoded protein is a component of a multiprotein E3 ubiquitin ligase complex that mediates the targeting of substrate proteins for proteasomal degradation. Mutations in this gene are known to cause Parkinson disease and autosomal recessive juvenile Parkinson disease. Alternative splicing of this gene produces multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms. Additional splice variants of this gene have been described but currently lack transcript support. Product Notes
The PARK2 (Catalog #AAA6012209) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PARK2, NT (E3 Ubiquitin-protein Ligase Parkin, PRKN, Parkinson Juvenile Disease Protein 2, Parkinson Disease Protein 2) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PARK2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB). Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:100-1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PARK2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PARK2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
