Related Product Information for anti-PARG antibody
Poly(ADP-ribose) glycohydrolase (PARG) is the major enzyme responsible for the catabolism of poly(ADP-ribose), a reversible covalent-modifier of chromosomal proteins. The protein is found in many tissues and may be subject to proteolysis generating smaller, active products.

Uniprot Description

PARG: Poly(ADP-ribose) synthesized after DNA damage is only present transiently and is rapidly degraded by poly(ADP-ribose) glycohydrolase. Poly(ADP-ribose) metabolism may be required for maintenance of the normal function of neuronal cells. Belongs to the poly(ADP-ribose) glycohydrolase family. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: EC 3.2.1.143; Hydrolase

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 10q11.23

Cellular Component: cytoplasm; cytosol; intracellular membrane-bound organelle; mitochondrial matrix; nucleoplasm; nucleus

Molecular Function: poly(ADP-ribose) glycohydrolase activity; protein binding

Biological Process: ATP generation from poly-ADP-D-ribose; carbohydrate metabolic process

Product Notes

The PARG parg (Catalog #AAA6330834) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PARG, CT (PARG, Poly(ADP-ribose) glycohydrolase) (PE) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PARG can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), FLISA. WB: 1:100-500 FLISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PARG parg for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PARG, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
