NCBI Description

This gene belongs to a family of genes that are expressed in a variety of tumors but not in normal tissues, except for the testis. Unlike the other gene family members, this gene does not encode an antigenic peptide. Nothing is presently known about the function of this protein. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes

The PAGE1 page1 (Catalog #AAA6006100) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PAGE1 (P Antigen Family Member 1, PAGE-1, AL5, G Antigen 9, GAGE-9, G Antigen Family B Member 1, Prostate-associated Gene 1 Protein, GAGE9, GAGEB1, CT16.3) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PAGE1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 3ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PAGE1 page1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: MGFLRRLIYR RRPMIYVESS EESSDEQPDE VESPTQSQDS TPAEEREDEG ASAAQGQEPE ADSQELVQPK TGCELGDGPD TKRVCLRNEE QMKLPAEGPE PEADSQEQVH PKTGCERGDG PDVQELGLPN PEEVKTPEED EGQSQP. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PAGE1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
