Related Product Information for anti-OR3A4P antibody
Olfactory receptors interact with odorant molecules in the nose, to initiate a neuronal response that triggers the perception of a smell. The olfactory receptor proteins are members of a large family of G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCR) arising from single coding-exon genes. Olfactory receptors share a 7-transmembrane domain structure with many neurotransmitter and hormone receptors and are responsible for the recognition and G protein-mediated transduction of odorant signals. The olfactory receptor gene family is the largest in the genome. The nomenclature assigned to the olfactory receptor genes and proteins for this organism is independent of other organisms. This olfactory receptor gene is transcribed and contains an intact ORF, but it is predicted to be a pseudogene due to a poorly conserved 7-transmembrane domain structure.

Product Notes

The OR3A4P (Catalog #AAA6004338) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The OR3A4 (Putative Olfactory Receptor 3A4, Olfactory Receptor 17-24, OR17-24, Olfactory Receptor 3A5, OR3A4P, OR3A4, OR3A5P) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's OR3A4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Suitable for use in Western Blot. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the OR3A4P for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: MDLGNSGNDS VVTKFVLLGL TETAALQPIL FVIFLLAYVT TIGGTLSILA AILMETKLHS PMYFFLGNLS LPDVGCVSVT VPAMLSHFIS NDRSIPYKAC LSELFFFHLL AGADCFLLTI MAYDRYLAIC QSLTYSSRMS WGIQQALVGM SCVFSFTNAL TQTVALSPLN FCGPNVINHF YCDLPQPFQL SCSSVHLNGQ LLFVAAAFMG VAPLVLITVS YAHVAAAVLR IRSAEGRKKA FSTCSSHLTV VGIFYGTGVF SYTRLGSVES SDKDKGIGIL NTVISPMLNP LIYWTSLLDV GCISHCSSDA GVSPGPPVQS SLCCLQFTAL LSPPPGWGGL SPLNSHGL. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "OR3A4, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
