Related Product Information for anti-NFYB antibody
The protein encoded by this gene is one subunit of a
trimeric complex, forming a highly conserved transcription factor
that binds with high specificity to CCAAT motifs in the promoter
regions in a variety of genes. This gene product, subunit B, forms
a tight dimer with the C subunit, a prerequisite for subunit A
association. The resulting trimer binds to DNA with high
specificity and affinity. Subunits B and C each contain a
histone-like motif. Observation of the histone nature of these
subunits is supported by two types of evidence; protein sequence
alignments and experiments with mutants.

Product Notes

The NFYB nfyb (Catalog #AAA9204987) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 17-46. The NFYB Antibody (N-term) reacts with Human (Predicted Reactivity: Bovine, Chicken, Mouse, Rat) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's NFYB can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunofluorescence (IF). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NFYB nfyb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NFYB, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
