Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Related Product Information for anti-MYCN antibody
N-Myc is a 49.5kD nuclear phosphoprotein that contains a basic helix-loop-helix leucine zipper domain involved in DNA binding and protein dimerization. It regulates gene expression by dimerizing with itself or other helix-loop-helix proteins and this complex binds to DNA E-box sequences of regulated genes. N-Myc is expressed in high levels during embryonic development and in the adult during B-cell differentiation. It is overexpressed in a variety of tumors, aminly neuroblastomas and is associated with rapid progression and poor prognosis.

NCBI Description

This gene is a member of the MYC family and encodes a protein with a basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) domain. This protein is located in the nucleus and must dimerize with another bHLH protein in order to bind DNA. Amplification of this gene is associated with a variety of tumors, most notably neuroblastomas. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes

The MYCN mycn (Catalog #AAA621963) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The N-Myc reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's N-Myc can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB). Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Dilution: ELISA: 1:500 Western Blot: 1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MYCN mycn for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "N-Myc, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
