Related Product Information for anti-MRI1 antibody
MRI1 (Methylthioribose-1-Phosphate Isomerase 1) is a Protein Coding gene. The MRI1 gene, located on 19p13.13, is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, mouse, rat, etc. MRI1 belongs to the eIF-2B alpha/beta/delta subunits family, MtnA subfamily. This enzyme functions in the methionine salvage pathway by catalyzing the interconversion of methylthioribose-1-phosphate (MTR-1-P) and methythioribulose-1-phosphate (MTRu-1-P). Elevated expression of the encoded protein is associated with metastatic melanoma and this protein promotes melanoma cell invasion independent of its enzymatic activity. MRI1 is ubiquitously expressed in the placenta, skin, and other tissues. Diseases associated with MRI1 include Spinal Cord Melanoma and Intermittent Squint. Among its related pathways are S-methyl-5-Thio-alpha-D-ribose 1-phosphate degradation and Viral mRNA Translation.

Product Notes

The MRI1 (Catalog #AAA8109639) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-MRI1 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MRI1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunoprecipitation (IP). WB: 1:500-1:2000 IHC-P: 1:50-1:200 ICC/IF: 1:100-1:500 IP: 1-5uL/mg of lysate. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MRI1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MRI1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
