Uniprot Description

P130Cas: a docking protein containing multiple protein-protein interaction domains. Plays a central coordinating role for tyrosine-kinase-based signaling related to cell adhesion. Implicated in induction of cell migration. The amino-terminal SH3 domain regulates its interaction with focal adhesion kinase (FAK) and the FAK-related kinase PYK2 and also with tyrosine phosphatases PTP-1B and PTP-PEST. Overexpression confers antiestrogen resistance on breast cancer cells.

Protein type: Motility/polarity/chemotaxis; Adaptor/scaffold

Cellular Component: ruffle; focal adhesion; lamellipodium; cytoplasm; plasma membrane; nucleolus; cell junction; actin cytoskeleton

Molecular Function: protein domain specific binding; signal transducer activity; protein binding; protein kinase binding; SH3 domain binding

Biological Process: epidermal growth factor receptor signaling pathway; antigen receptor-mediated signaling pathway; integrin-mediated signaling pathway; cell migration; nerve growth factor receptor signaling pathway; actin filament organization; platelet-derived growth factor receptor signaling pathway; hepatocyte growth factor receptor signaling pathway; G-protein coupled receptor protein signaling pathway; B cell receptor signaling pathway; insulin receptor signaling pathway; actin cytoskeleton organization and biogenesis; cell adhesion; vascular endothelial growth factor receptor signaling pathway; positive regulation of cell migration

Product Notes

The Bcar1 bcar1 (Catalog #AAA9209380) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 322-348. The MOUSE Bcar1 Antibody (Center) reacts with Mouse (Predicted Reactivity: Rat) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MOUSE Bcar1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Bcar1 bcar1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MOUSE Bcar1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
